How to Reset Your Server's 'Admin' Password to Default

Issue:

Have you forgotten your 'Admin' password and are unable to access your server settings? Resetting it to the default configuration is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the steps to regain control of your server by resetting the 'Admin' password, ensuring you can manage your server settings securely and efficiently.

Resolution:

  1. Stop EveryonePrint Web service
  2. Open the EveryonePrint program folder (default : %ProgramFiles(x86)%\EveryonePrint )
  3. Make a backup copy of 'eop.xml' file
  4. Edit the 'eop.xml' file in a text editor like Notepad or similar
  5. Locate <adminpassword> and reset to this value :<adminpassword>85981E61533D41102C43F8661D2E98359502208C</adminpassword> 
  6. Restart EveryonePrint Web Service

The admin password is then reset to the default value "eop".
